There had been talks about the latest gaming console of Sony, the PlayStation Vita, being sold here in the Philippines even before the official release, with a price tag ranging from Php 17,000 to Php 20,000 depending on the features.
According to Sony, the PlayStation Vita will be released officially on 2/22/2012 in the US with a starting price of $249(roughly Php 10,000 to Php 11,000 depending on the exchange rate). Also, the tech specs of Playstation Vita is as follows:

I was never a fan of portable gaming consoles. My last portable gaming console was the first release of Nintendo’s Game Boy. But with the release of PlayStation Vita, that could possibly change. It is truly great to be a gaming fan nowadays as more and more innovative products are being released, not to mention the Kinect for Windows being released this coming February.
