Dinner at Cyma Greek Taverna

My girlfriend and her best friend decided to meet up last Monday for dinner since they have not seen each other in a while. While waiting for her to arrive, we went on to Cyma Greek Taverna in Robinson’s Place Manila, which just opened a few months ago.

Upon arriving, we immediately got our hands on their menu. Since this is a Mediterranean restaurant, we ordered their hummus for our appetizer. The last time we had hummus was when we went to Gilak by Hossein.

We also tried their Mixed Meat Gyro.

The Mixed Meat Gyro is great even without the sauce. I did not try the sauce because it looks very spicy to me. :)

For the main dish, we ordered Grilled Salmon

Cyma Salmon

and the Chicken and Seafood Yiouvetsi.

Cyma Chicken and Seafood Yiouvetsi

The Chicken and Seafood Yiouvetsi is a Greek paella valenciana with orzo(rice-shaped pasta), parsely, and extra virgin olive oil.

However, there is a very unfortunate thing that happened which I will not discuss further because they quickly attend to the problem. Because of this very unfortunate thing, they gave us a complimentary dessert, Galaktoboureko(and they have written something off the receipt).

We will still go back to Cyma even though something we didn’t expect happened. Their food is just great and their staff is friendly and helpful.
